Background #

Online financial lending company needed improved risk analysis for its short-term loan account portfolio.

Project Requirements #

Lender wanted a measure the risk of default for each of its loan accounts. The metric needed to be based on known historical data such as payment history, account history, loan balances, and fees incurred.

Solution #

Developed Java application that scored short-term loan accounts based on customer data using a proprietary algorithm. Application supported data imports from Excel or a SQL database.
