Wesco Release Management Dashboard

Background #

Wesco is a Fortune 500 multinational electrical distribution and services company. I was a software engineer on the eCommerce team from 2017 to 2020.

Project Requirements #

The engineering, QA, and project management teams needed at-a-glance visibility into which software releases were deployed to the different environments.

In addition, database refresh dates were not readily available and required sifting through e-mail correspondence.

Solution #

Developed Spring Boot web application for displaying the required information in a dashboard view. UI was developed using Bootstrap framework.

Required integration with the following systems:

• Atlassian Bamboo CI/CD system
• SAP Hybris eCommerce platform
